Job Details:

The Organisation
The company is a large international engineering consultancy and have secured work on one of the largest Rail projects in India. This is an exciting time to join an expanding business on an market leading project.

The Role

  • Ensure that live project plans are updated on a weekly/monthly basis

  • Ensure that all programs are base lined with the client following contract award

  • Produce cost loaded plans to support project deliver

  • Work with the project teams to ensure that all plans are realistic and achievable

  • Establish ways of working with project teams / customers (internal or external) to ensure the accuracy of information being inputted into tender/project programs.

  • Deliver work within agreed timelines and according to the agreed quality

The Successful Applicant

  • Knowledge of the Rail Operating Environment, including standards, safety and procedures is essential

  • Understanding of the engineering requirements of work on the railway

  • Significant tender/project planning experience which has been gained within the rail sector

  • Proficient in the use of planning tools especially P3, P6 and MS Project

  • Experience and capability of producing detailed cost loaded tender plans in support of bids

  • Proficient in the use of Earned Value Analysis (EVA) for project monitoring

  • Conversant with financial and program risk management

Remuneration

US$ 190, 000 per annum + accomodation, car, medical, annual flights
