Job Details:

An experienced Project Manager is required to work for a leading international engineering company on the Doha Metro project.

The Organisation
The company is a global engineering consultancy. They are operating as PM Company on the Doha Metro project and sub-contracting out various packages as necessary.

The Role
A Project Manager with extensive tunnelling experience, ideally on multiple underground rail project is desired. You will work for the project management company on this huge project. Therefore you will be responsible for checking that the various contractors are working to the correct designs and specifications agreed in the contract. You will attend regular progress meetings as well as being on site to assess the quality and timeliness of work carried out.

The Successful Applicant

  • A BSc or similar qualification in a relevant subject such as Civil Engineering or Construction/ Project Management is desired

  • Extensive tunnelling experience is essential

  • Previous experience on rail projects, ideally underground rail projects is highly desired

  • A combination of working as a contractor Constriction Manager as well as working for a PM company or client is desired.

  • Previous experience in Middle East or the surrounding region and dealings with the local authorities in the country would be an advantage

Remuneration
QAR 50 - 55 K per month, medical, flights, relocation.
