The Organisation
Our client is a leading international rail solutions provider with operations in the Pacific, South East Asia, Indian subcontinent, and in Southern and Central Africa. They operate as lead contractors, system integrators and turnkey suppliers of the largest railway and subway mass transit projects.

The Role

  • To advise the Client on all issues pertaining to the Project; particularly, Cost, Quality and Time.

  • To lead a multi-disciplinary Project Team, which comprises of multiple disciplines, Professionals and Engineers.

  • Lead, participate and assist the Client in contract negotiation with the Contractor.

  • To monitor and review the progress and performance of the Contractor and recommend actions to be taken for the smooth implementation of the Project. Responsible for the setting up and operating an efficient Quality Management System for the project.

  • To build and maintain good relationships with Client's site representatives, Consultant's and Contractor's key site personnel.

The Successful Applicant

  • 20 + years experience in construction and project management of large scale rail projects.

  • Chartered Engineer or Project Management Professional (PMP) would be highly regarded.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, problem solving and negotiation skills.

  • Track record of leading and motivating multi cultural project teams. Experience in the Asia Pacific region is a pre requisite for this role.

Remuneration
US$ 140, 000 / Year + Relocation, Bonus.
